Teresa Quinn, MD, is a faculty member at the University ofHospital Family Medicine Residency, holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in geriatrics, and is boarded in medical hypnosis. She has worked in busy practice settings; as medical director of a community clinic in St. Paul; and as a volunteer physician in refugee camps in Thailand. She is faculty for the Healers Art course for U of MN medical students. Dr. Quinn completed a Bush medical Fellowship with a focus on improving health care for older patients and Medicare policy. She was born in Green Bay Wisconsin and was the first graduate of the University of Wisconsin Green Bay to attend medical school.
Dr. Quinn decided to specialize in geriatrics because she enjoys working with older adults to help them maintain their health and prevent disease. In her free time, Dr. Quinn enjoys being with family and friends, reading and exercising.
