I have a passion for rocks, especially fossils and semi-precious/precious stones. I travel to different areas to fossil hunt, and rockhound. I also enjoy visiting museums, hiking, cooking/baking, board games, and gardening.
What appeals to me about family medicine is that it asks physicians to manage complexity, build trust over time, and care for patients as whole people rather than as isolated problems. I value its breadth and the opportunity to care for patients with a wide range of needs. That combination of continuity, whole-person care, and broad clinical reasoning is why family medicine remains the right specialty for me.
