Dr. Wagner joined the University of Minnesota Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency faculty in 2001. She serves as associate residency director and medical director of the residency-affiliated free clinic for children and coordinates the community health curriculum. Dr. Wagner co-authored the 2009 Honoring Choices Minnesota health care directive forum and the 2008 AAFP Recommended Curriculum Guidelines for Family Medicine Residents – Medical Ethics. Dr. Wagner holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in adolescent medicine and is interested in the development of optimal educational and professional cultures for residents and practicing physicians.

As a family physician, Dr. Wagner enjoys seeing patients of all ages from newborn to geriatrics.  She tries to treat the whole person, paying attention to the stages of life and levels of stress.  Most of Dr. Wagner’s time is spent in the education of family physicians in the U of MN-Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Wagner and her husband enjoy living in St. Louis Park where they have raised two sons.
