I believe the foundation of great medical care is strong relationships with my patients, listening before speaking, and meeting my patients wherever they are at on their health journey. I have tremendous faith in the human spirit and human body to overcome challenges, and I love taking care of families and people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I have a special interest in women’s health and obstetrics, pediatric and adolescent medicine, osteopathic manipulative treatment, office-based procedures, LGBTQ+ care and caring for those who are often marginalized in health care. As a former collegiate volleyball player, I have a particular interest in helping people be athletes of any stripe at any age, so I often prescribe movement and exercises tailored to my patients’ particular issues. As an osteopathic doctor, I also perform manipulation for patients who have issues with their muscles, bones, tendons, fascia and lymphatics, which can help with anything from headaches, TMJ, chronic back pain, arthritis to sprained ankles, newborn feeding issues and constipation. Osteopathic manipulation is also safe and effective for common pains and issues associated with pregnancy.
